Loose lead walking
Does your dog often take you for a walk instead of the other way around? Are you tired of the constant pulling and tugging, leaving you with sore arms and frustration? If so, our Loose Lead Walking program is tailored just for you.
Obedience training
We cover how to prepare your dog for any type of situation with basic and advanced obedience. We will teach you to train with markers (conditioned reinforcement) how to wean their dog off food rewards and/or toy rewards in preparation for taking your dog into any situation. This is an extremely important skill to learn because to do it correctly and still maintain motivation and drive is an art form.
Anxiety
Anxiety is one of the most common problems found with everyone going back to work during these hard times. In our training we explain and show how to give your dog opportunities to be strong on it's own.
Recall training
Having a solid recall command is hands down the most important behavior you can train your dogs. You can have a dog that won’t sit, down, or stand, but you cannot live with a dog that will not come when called. This is true regardless of your ultimate training goals. Whether you are training a working dog for high level competition, a police k9, or and every day house dog, your dog must come when called no matter what.
Behavior Consulting
Chewing, playing, exploring, and investigating their environment are normal behaviors for dogs — especially puppies!
However, these normal behaviors can result in destruction of household property, which can become a serious and frustrating problem for owners. In fact, destructive behavior is one of the most commonly reported behavior problems in dogs. DOGS DO NOT PARTICIPATE IN DESTRUCTIVE ACTIVITIES OUT OF SPITE OR REVENGE. Dogs often behave destructively to relieve anxiety or as an outlet for excess energy.
Leash Reactivity
